Excel's "State Clubs" allow our 5th wheel owners to enjoy friendship and camaraderie with other RV'ers who live in their state. If you'd like to find out more about what clubs have formed in your state, or perhaps get information about starting a club, you'll get an introduction here!
Arkansas EXCEL CLUB
Join us as we take in the scenic beauty of Petit Jean State Park, October 12-14. We’ll be joining park interpreters for the Senior American Special, including free guided walks, talks, demonstrations and entertainment. All ages are welcome. Contact Petit Jean State Park at (501) 727-5441.

Illinois EXCEL CLUB
Sponsored by Sam and Sharon Stimmel, 14 units of the Excel Club of IL met at the Camp Lakewood in Effingham, IL the days of May 4 – 6, 2012 for the Spring outing. They did an outstanding job. With all the actives offered in surrounding cities, everyone enjoyed themselves. Regarding the FALL CAMPOUT Ken and Carolyn Beeler will be the Wagon Master. Iowa EXCEL CLUB
The Excel of Iowa will be holding their Spring 2012 campout at Cutty’s Campground in Grimes, Iowa (by Des Moines, Ia) on May 4, 5, & 6. Early birds (those arriving on the 3rd or before) will be able to attend a dinner on Thursday which will be held at the Machine Shed in Living History Farms. Other outings are being planned. A campout will be held this summer at Fiscus Grove July 16 to the 22. During this winter, the Snowbees gathered in Des Moines and the Winter Texans held three get-togethers (January, February and March at Furr’s).

Kansas EXCEL CLUB
The Kansas Excel club met at Sycamore Springs Campground April 20-22nd. We had 32 people attending. We welcomed 2 new members: Delbert and Joan Erickson, and Allan and Edine Moody. Due to illness, June Wood will not be able to be the incoming secretary, so Janet Hoover volunteered to do so. We had a great time, and missed those not able to attend. Our fall meeting will be the 1st weekend in October at Lake Afton. We hope all the Kansas Excel members are able to attend - and if you know any new Excel owners we would love to have them attend. Minnesota EXCEL CLUB
The Minnesota Excel Club is having a Summer Gathering. Dates are Aug. 1st through Aug. 6th in Amana, IA. Amana Colonies RV Parks and Event Center. This is open to ALL Excel owners!! Those who wish to attend will be making there own reservation's and will be in with the group if they let them know they are with the Excel Summer Gathering group. We will have full hookup sites close to the meeting building. We get a 10 % group discount and the use of the meting building is included in the price. No other discounts will apply. The price is 28.80 plus tax. Total of 30.82 give or take a penny or two. We can each reserve for as many of the days as we want, during this time. If you can make it for a night or six I'm sure from what I have heard of the area there is much to do. All Excell owners are invited from all the states, and Canada. We are working on things to do while there. Suggestions are welcome , especially those who have been there. Looking forward to a great time at this event.

Nebraska EXCEL CLUB
The planned campouts of the EXCEL of Nebraska Chapter for 2011. Our Spring Campout will be June 3 - 5, 2011at Lafayette Park Campgrounds Gothenburg, NE. Our Fall Campout will be September 16 -18, 2011 at Niobrara State Park Niobrara,　NE. New Mexico EXCEL CLUB
The NM Excel Club had a couple winter gatherings; those who live in the northern half of the state met at Vivo de Capo's Italian Restaurant in Albuquerque for lunch on Sunday, January 15 to eat and catch up on travel adventures since last fall, and the southern group had a good visit and meal in beautiful Cloudcroft,NM at Big Daddy's Restaurant.
Plans are being made for all NM Excel members to meet in Las Cruces for our Spring Rally at Hacienda RV Resort, April 20-22, 2012. A pet parade, a local winery tour, a visit to Old Mesilla, and maybe a hike to Dripping Springs in the Organ Mtns. are just a few possible rally activities. Want to join us? Oklahoma EXCEL CLUB
Oklahoma Excel club met April 27-29, 2012, with 31 trailers at the FireLake Citizen Potawatomi RV Park at Shawnee, Oklahoma. A club from Oklahoma City came and demonstrated the art of square dancing. The curator of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center gave a very interesting talk on the tribe history. We celebrated our early settlers by sharing the history of heirlooms brought by members, and heard family stories. Our Fall Rally will be Oct 19-21, 2012, at Cedar Oaks RV Resort at Grove, OK.

The Excel of South Dakota spring campout will be held at Camp America in Salem, SD, starting May 31 and departing June 3, 2012. Just for future information, the fall rally will be held at Jack's Campers Too in Piedmont, SD, starting September 9 and departing September 12, 2012

Texas EXCEL CLUB
The Texas Excel Club held their Spring Rally at the Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in Boerne, TX on April 20-22, 2012. A number of rigs came early and stayed late to visit. Everyone enjoyed visiting, games, a catered meal, and beautiful cool weather.
The Fall 2012 Rally is planned for October 12-14, 2012 at the Shallow Creek RV Park near Gladewater, TX. All Excel owners are invited to join us. For more information contact Janet Spiekermann at jwspiek@att.net.

Wisconsin EXCEL CLUB
Our meetings always fall on the weekend before Memorial Day and in the fall the weekend after Labor Day.
That puts the spring outing on May 18 - 20, 2012. It will be held in Eagle River, WI. We will be holding election of officers.
