Every Excel RV begins in the Engineering and Design Department.

Over in the Cabinet Department, drawers are assembled with plywood sides instead of the particleboard used by many manufacturers.

In the Saw Department, raw materials are precision-cut to meet exacting specification.

Sidewall components are assembled prior to entering the PPLS (Positive Pressure Lamination System) press.

We weld our own main frames in the Steel Fabrication Department.

Much of our plumbing and wiring is done prior to cabinet installation.

In the slide-out assembly department, rooms are ready to be set on the fifth wheel unit.

After the slide-outs are set, wiring, plumbing, and flooring are in place and sidewalls are ready to be installed.

Once the sidewalls and roof are fully assembled, overhead wiring is installed.

Excel takes great pride in the hidden details of our fifth wheels - like the high density insulation we install before putting on the fiberglass roof.

Vents are installed and seams are sealed after the roof is in place.

The window treatments, bedroom ensembles, and upholstery are all manufactured at our plant.

We also manufacture our own sofas and bed mattresses in order to meet our exceptionally high standards of quality and workmanship.
